Earth thank you
These
four walls are cold… my chair, my stool… these painting are cold, these four
walls are cold… these floors are cold, these paintings are warm. I live in a
place that soaks me…string me up to dry, but yet I use my gift to survive.
Hanging
by my kind heat against the wall like a wet cloth… I guarantee you that my
stomach is the closed door to your half sandwich… The dishes that weren’t
cleaned… the mind that wasn’t even rewind.
I
reconstructed and recreated my fireplace… they say it didn’t exist, but just
the mere sight of it is keeping my heart warm, my flesh alive, my breath deep
and my senses… you see! What’s keeping me
alive is the light in me… so please let me enlighten you.
There
are no feet that you cannot achieve, there’s nothing that you cannot gain;
contemplate and retained. Rebuild it and brake it down… destroy it! It was
never intangible but for everything that came before you was always nothing
less but incredible.
Go
forth and create the world without the image you thought of or that you brought…
but within the fashion in which they thought, but who’s they? It’s you! So I have
to thank you for giving birth to me and allowing me to live on your wind and
water. Therefore earth I thank you… forever, furthermore.
